WiGetFood legal

Terms of Use

These Terms govern how buyers, sellers, logistics providers, staff, and administrators use WiGetFood.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Platform role

WiGetFood, powered by NAWARTER LIMITED, operates as a governed foodstuff marketplace connecting buyers, approved sellers, and approved logistics providers. WiGetFood provides the platform, workflow, role controls, support process, payment coordination, dispute workflow, and payout governance. WiGetFood is not the producer of every product listed by sellers and is not the owner of every logistics asset used by logistics providers.

2. Account eligibility and accuracy

Users must provide accurate information and keep their account details up to date. Sellers and logistics providers must complete approval checks before they can operate in their role. WiGetFood may reject, restrict, suspend, or close accounts where information is false, incomplete, risky, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with platform governance.

3. Buyer obligations

  • Provide accurate account, delivery, and contact details.
  • Review product details, quantity, price, delivery information, and payment amount before placing an order.
  • Use WiGetFood payment and support channels instead of bypassing the platform.
  • Inspect goods at delivery before confirming receipt, especially for perishable products.
  • Raise disputes through the approved WiGetFood dispute/support process with clear evidence.

4. Seller obligations

  • Provide accurate registration, verification, business, and product information.
  • List products honestly, including product name, category, unit, price, location, quantity, stock note, and product photo where required.
  • Prepare goods in the condition and quantity promised on the platform.
  • Avoid off-platform dealing, direct buyer solicitation, false availability, price manipulation, or misleading product claims.
  • Accept that seller settlement may be controlled until the order, delivery, receipt confirmation, and dispute window are handled according to WiGetFood governance.

5. Logistics provider obligations

  • Provide accurate registration, verification, company, coverage, and operational details.
  • Accept only assigned platform delivery tasks and update pickup, transit, delivery, and OTP/receipt events honestly.
  • Protect buyer and seller fulfilment details and use them only for the assigned delivery.
  • Avoid off-platform dealing, direct solicitation, unauthorised rerouting, false delivery updates, or misuse of contact details.
  • Accept that logistics payout may be controlled until delivery completion, receipt confirmation, and dispute review are handled according to WiGetFood governance.

6. Orders, delivery quotes, and manual review

Orders may require automatic delivery quotes, admin-reviewed delivery quotes, or manual delivery quotes depending on location, weight, logistics coverage, product details, and operational risk. A buyer must follow the current order workflow shown on the platform. WiGetFood may pause, review, cancel, or correct an order where the details are incomplete, inconsistent, unsafe, fraudulent, unavailable, or operationally impossible.

7. Payments, fees, commissions, and payouts

WiGetFood may collect buyer payments through approved payment providers such as Paystack. Order totals may include goods cost, delivery cost, buyer service fee, seller commission, logistics commission, tax/VAT signals where applicable, and other platform-approved commercial values. Seller settlement and logistics payout are governed by order status, delivery status, receipt confirmation, dispute status, admin approval, and platform controls.

Users must not attempt to bypass WiGetFood payment, commission, service fee, settlement, or payout controls. WiGetFood may block, reverse, delay, or review payouts where fraud, dispute, error, incomplete delivery, failed delivery, wrong goods, evidence issue, or governance issue is detected.

8. Returns, refunds, and disputes

Foodstuff and perishable-product issues must be reported quickly through the approved WiGetFood dispute/support process. Buyers should inspect goods at delivery before confirming receipt. WiGetFood may request evidence such as photos, order references, delivery notes, and issue descriptions. Possible outcomes include no refund, partial refund, full refund, replacement, corrected delivery, platform credit, payout adjustment, or account action depending on the evidence and platform records.

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Bypassing WiGetFood to avoid platform fees, service charges, commissions, or payment controls.
  • Creating false accounts, impersonating another person or business, or submitting false verification records.
  • Uploading harmful files, fake evidence, misleading product photos, or fraudulent payment information.
  • Harassing buyers, sellers, logistics providers, staff, or support agents.
  • Trying to break, overload, copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform.

10. Platform changes and availability

WiGetFood may change, suspend, restrict, improve, or remove parts of the platform as needed for security, compliance, testing, maintenance, product improvement, fraud prevention, payment governance, seller governance, logistics governance, or commercial readiness. WiGetFood may also introduce new features in controlled phases.

11. Limitation of liability

WiGetFood works to provide a secure and governed marketplace, but users remain responsible for their own information, conduct, product accuracy, delivery conduct, account access, and lawful use of the platform. To the extent allowed by applicable law, WiGetFood is not liable for indirect loss, off-platform dealings, user misrepresentation, unavailable products, logistics delays outside platform control, third-party service interruptions, or losses caused by misuse of the platform.

12. Governing position

WiGetFood is being launched as a Nigeria-first marketplace. Users must comply with applicable Nigerian laws, marketplace rules, payment rules, tax obligations, food/product rules, transport/logistics obligations, and platform governance requirements that apply to their role and activity.

13. Changes to these Terms

WiGetFood may update these Terms as the marketplace, payment model, logistics model, dispute process, product coverage, or legal/commercial requirements evolve. Continued use of the platform after updates means the user accepts the updated Terms.
